Now hiring: we are hiring a site dozer operator in Davidson County, North Carolina. The role involves clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse. What we are looking for: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters 3+ years on the tools preferred.
