Join our team: mason's helper (Louisiana)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mason's helper in Winn Parish, Louisiana. Day-to-day duties: • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean What we are looking for: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
