Urgent requirement: we are hiring a joiner in Des Moines County, Iowa. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Own basic hand tools You will build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish.
