Immediate opening: we are hiring a head butcher in Hillsborough County, Florida. The job is in a meat processing plant. On the job you will handle: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder Requirements: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Rotating shifts. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
