Gas metal arc welder — Estill County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Estill County, Kentucky. The job is at an automobile body shop. On a typical shift you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $32 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
