Rebar installer — Gallatin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar installer in Gallatin County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Your main tasks: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine 3+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
