Gypsum plasterer • Orange County, California

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Orange County, California. You will be based at a new-build housing development. Your main tasks: • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets What we are looking for: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day 3+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
