Gas metal arc welder wanted in Eastland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Eastland County, Texas. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium 4+ years on the tools preferred. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
