We are recruiting: we are hiring a retail butcher in Dolores County, Colorado. The job is in a meat processing plant. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers On the job you will handle: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders Full-time with occasional weekends. $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
