We are recruiting: we are hiring a halal butcher in Carmarthenshire, Wales. You will work at a halal meat counter. On the job you will handle: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Season and marinate meat on request • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
