Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Day-to-day duties: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
