Now hiring: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Fairbanks North Star Borough, Alaska. You will work in a residential tower block. Your main tasks: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Valid driving licence for site call-outs 6+ years on the tools preferred.
