Quality control inspector — Screven County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Screven County, Georgia. You will be based in an electronics assembly workshop. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade Day to day you will carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
