Urgent requirement: lathe programmer-operator (Louisiana)

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Grant Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a tool room. Day-to-day duties: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
