Vertical transportation technician • Logan County, Kansas

Join our team: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Logan County, Kansas. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day-to-day duties: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators What we are looking for: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work 6+ years on the tools preferred. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
