Argon arc welder • Sainte Genevieve County, Missouri

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Sainte Genevieve County, Missouri. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day to day you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift.
