Thermal insulation technician — Jefferson Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on flat roofs and terraces. Ideal candidate: • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding Your main tasks: • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape Overtime paid at a premium rate.
