Immediate opening: HGV driver (Arkansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a HGV driver in Searcy County, Arkansas. The job is at a haulage company. The role involves: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels What we are looking for: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Valid digital tachograph card • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Overtime paid at a premium rate.
