Immediate opening: industrial sewing operator (Scotland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Highland, Scotland. You will work on an export house sewing floor. What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Day to day you will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around £1,900 per month, based on your experience.
