Metal roofing fitter — Wharton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Wharton County, Texas. You will work on commercial flat-roof projects. Your main tasks: • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets You should have: • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
