Immediate opening: brickwork mason (New York)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Rockland County, New York. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets On a typical shift you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser.
