Elevator service technician • Madison County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Madison County, Iowa. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. You will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
