Join our team: concrete placer (Alabama)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete placer in Etowah County, Alabama. You will be based on a road and bridge project. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers On a typical shift you will compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $21 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
