Now hiring: we are hiring a furniture maker in Albany County, New York. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. Your main tasks: • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Own basic hand tools • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
