Gas commissioning technician — Jefferson County

Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion On the job you will handle: • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
