Tyre fitter wanted in Borough of Tameside

Now hiring: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Borough of Tameside, England. Your main tasks: • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly What we are looking for: • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer We offer £1,750 per month plus benefits.
