Stamping press operator • Somerset County, Pennsylvania

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a busy press shop. On a typical shift you will punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean. You should have: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
