Cement mason wanted in Otoe County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cement mason in Otoe County, Nebraska. The role involves discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins. Ideal candidate: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules 3+ years on the tools preferred.
