Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in Caerphilly County Borough, Wales. The role involves: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills Six days a week, one day off.
