Quality assurance assistant • Warren County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Warren County, Virginia. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
