Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furniture maker in O'Brien County, Iowa. Day-to-day duties: • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Own basic hand tools • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
