Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofing technician in Montgomery County, Alabama. The job is at a roofing and cladding contractor. You should have: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day Day-to-day duties: • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs Overtime paid at a premium rate.
