Finishing presser wanted in South Central Connecticut Planning Region

We are recruiting: we are hiring a finishing presser in South Central Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is in a tailoring workshop. The role involves fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; give each garment a final press before packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
