Now hiring: fusing press operator (Nebraska)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Antelope County, Nebraska. You will work in a garment export house. On the job you will handle: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
