Great opportunity: we are hiring a demolition labourer in Butts County, Georgia. The job is with a civil contractor. Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker On a typical shift you will backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site.
