Great opportunity: maintenance painter (Michigan)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a maintenance painter in Mackinac County, Michigan. You will work on commercial fit-out projects. Day to day you will fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture; mix and tint paint to match colour swatches; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer. You should have: • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application • Own brushes and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
