Rebar fixer • Chase County, Nebraska

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Chase County, Nebraska. You will be based on a busy residential building site. On the job you will handle: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
