Vehicle body repairer — Modoc County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vehicle body repairer in Modoc County, California. You will be based at a paint and panel shop. On a typical shift you will treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder. Requirements: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes 4+ years on the tools preferred.
