Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Jibia, Katsina State. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Your main tasks: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls Six days a week, one day off.
