Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press shop operator in Morgan County, Kentucky. The job is at an auto components factory. Day-to-day duties: • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Rotating shifts. $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
