The role involves: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
