Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Delta County, Texas. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. The role involves: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
