Aluminium tig welder wanted in Evans County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Evans County, Georgia. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height You will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
