Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane operator in Trego County, Kansas. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Your main tasks: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts 4+ years on the tools preferred. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
