Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. The job is on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Ideal candidate: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) Day to day you will cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame.
