Elevator service technician — Presque Isle County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Presque Isle County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; run load and overload tests with test weights; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. You should have: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate 6+ years on the tools preferred.
