Fire and safety officer wanted in Mikang

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Mikang, Plateau State. The job is in a chemical processing unit. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Day-to-day duties: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. ₦150,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
