Join our team: we are hiring a marble polisher in South Central Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work at a kitchen worktop showroom. Requirements: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone On a typical shift you will fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps; work from cutting lists and installation drawings; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting; lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar. 5+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $31 per hour plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
