Bar bender and fixer • Gallatin County, Montana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Gallatin County, Montana. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. You will check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Six days a week, one day off.
