HVAC-R technician — Somerset County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. You will work on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. You should have: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC Day to day you will braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off.
